Johnson Service Group, a nationally award winning staffing firm, is looking to hire a Drug Product Manufacturing Associate for a biotech manufacturing company in Carlsbad, CA.
This role is Temp to Hire | Onsite | The pay range for this position is between $20.00 - 24.00 per hour |Candidate must have authorization to work with in the US as our client isn’t able to provide current or future sponsorship.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform various routine manufacturing tasks under the direction of internal SOP's and cGMP guidelines
Prepare materials needed for manufacturing operations.
Record all steps clearly and completely in production batch records, logbooks, and other required forms.
Participate in preparing for inspections.
Perform basic math calculations.
Keep work areas and equipment clean.
Assist experienced staff in making bulk drug formulations using lab equipment.
Assist experienced staff in sterile filtration activities and sterile filling procedures.
Handle lab waste according to set procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Life Science preferred.
1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Strong time and project management skills needed.
Effective communication skills required for collaboration within the department and across divisions.
High integrity, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic essential.
Experience in a cGMP contract manufacturing organization is advantageous.
