JSG is seeking a Full Stack Drupal Developer for a long term contract opportunity in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will bring advanced expertise in computer programming, data analysis, software development, and GIS technologies. Key Responsibilities:
To upgrade Aqua from Drupal 10 to Drupal 11
To migrate Aqua from on-premises to the cloud (OCI) to align department direction
To support and modify the Valley Water, Aqua, and other agency website content
To develop additional web pages for various business units, including TIU, EHS, HR, Emp Services, etc
To remedy accessibility items
To fix vulnerabilities and harden the websites
To fix browser layout and mobile responsive issues
To support customer requests
 To recommend and access technical solutions
To provide training as needed.
Ability to:
Conduct journey-level analysis and programming for business systems and GIS applications.
Interpret complex system requirements and develop effective solutions.
Perform intricate spatial analyses with multiple attributes and virtual scenarios.
Train, organize, and review the work of staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Training & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in business systems, GIS, web technologies, software development, and analysis.
Experienced full-stack Drupal developer in Drupal, WordPress, and/or other CMS
Security patching and fixes
Drupal module installation and configuration
Strong PHP, Symfony components, MySQL or MariaDB, Rest API
Drupal site building and theming
Drupal upgrades and content migration
Linux and Windows operating systems
Familiar with cloud infrastructure
Licenses & Certifications:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California driver’s license.
$43.60 per hour
