Johnson Service Group, a professional recruiting firm, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for our global manufacturing client in Richland, MS.Â
Responsibilities:
Plan and create designs for high voltage power generation equipment.
Develop testing processes and perform testing and validation of new designs.
Generate working prototypes for testing and customer demonstration.
Lead R&D projects and project development activities.
Create and review bill of materials; create and review technical drawings, plans and specs.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process.
Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget.
Support cross functions; i.e. SCM, project management and quality to understand customer requirements and specifications.
Directly responsible for maintaining and updating the documentation for respective projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
4 years’ experience working with high voltage power transformer design.
Adept in coding languages (Java, .Net, VB), data management software/PLM (Windchill), and SAP.
Knowledgeable on international electrical standards
Must be able to manage large, complex projects as well as multi-task on small projects and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for our client in the United States.
