Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting an Electrical Design Engineer for our industrial power manufacturing client. Local to the Richland, MS area, the incumbent will be responsible for collaborating with Engineers to plan, conceptualize and design high voltage power generation equipment. Onsite: Richland MS | Direct Hire | Salaried w. Benefits Responsibilities:
Seamlessly collaborate in the development of testing, validation and design of working prototypes for customers and internal teams, primarily focusing on high voltage current and power generation equipment.
Responsible for leading Research and Development projects, in accordance with internal procedures/models to meet targets/budgets, while implementing safety, quality and cost analysis.
Collaborate with engineering teams for proper calculations, supportive design work, technical drawings, plans, and software specifications. Outline and detail needed bill of materials and documents to track project development and design processes.
Coordinate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, vendors, contractors and project managers to maintain and update documentation for each respective project.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
4 years’ experience working with high voltage power transformer design.
Adept in coding languages, data management software/PLM, international electrical standards, Microsoft Office/Project, and SAP.
Candidate must already have worth authorization which would permit them to work within the United States. Current or future sponsorship is not available for this role.
