Johnson Service Group is looking for a contract Electrical Engineer III to work in in Englewood, CO.
Must be able to obtain a clearance so US Citizens only.
Length – 14 months budgeted, then month to month or possible extension
Electrical Engineers research, design, develop, test, certify, deploy and improve cutting edge products and services. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll conceptualize and design new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle from analog and digital electronic circuit card assemblies to fully integrated systems. Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements: Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps. Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity. Rarely lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs. Working Conditions: Rarely exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials.

Experience Installing and calibrate strain gauges on various aircraft structures and components
Experience Installing and configure flight test instrumentation hardware and transducers
Programming experience of instrumentation systems using Das Studio on Curtiss Wright hardware
Understanding of flight test requirements and FAA compliance
Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues with instrumentation systems during flight tests
Experience maintaining documentation for instrumentation systems
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of strain gauge installation and calibration
Experience with flight test instrumentation hardware installation and configuration
Proficient in programming instrumentation systems using Das Studio software
Knowledge of FAA regulations and requirements for flight test instrumentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must-haves: Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
