Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and control systems in a manufacturing environment. These systems support safety, quality, efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of our operations.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Develop and implement electrical systems and instrumentation for monitoring and controlling industrial processes.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Project Planning and Execution: Plan, schedule, and execute projects related to electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with industry standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, operations staff, project managers, and maintenance teams to integrate systems seamlessly into manufacturing operations.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all systems meet health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Conduct and participate in safety assessments of electrical and control equipment.
Training and Support: Train operations, maintenance, and engineering personnel on new processes and equipment, and provide ongoing technical guidance and support.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an E&I engineer in a manufacturing environment or similar role.
Strong knowledge of production processes, including manufacturing and quality control.
Proficiency in PLC programming, control systems, and instrumentation design.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
Project management experience, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing processes.
Continuous improvement mindset focused on operational excellence.
Flexibility to support a 24/7 operational environment.
