JSG is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for an Engineering Technician with 5 years’ experience working in the Power Supply and Manufacturing electronics testing environment.  This is a Temp to Direct opportunity in Sun Valley, CA.
Engineering Technician
Rate: $21.00 per hour
Working hours: 7:30AM – 4:00PM

Produces the internal boards, bracket assemblies, connector, case assembly and wiring. Also, final processing (staking-marking-potting).
Installs parts or components which require special care in handling and other procedures which demand facility in use of a variety of equipment, hand tools and other machines.
Works with and reads wiring diagrams, blueprints, and bills of material to sub-assemble electronic components.
Makes minor procedural decisions in soldering, fitting, etc., within established guidelines.
Safely uses various hand tools such as heat gun, arbor press, and soldering iron.
Receives detailed instructions on new assignments and general instruction on routine work.
Performs visual and electrical checks.
Prepares transformers prior to installation at final assemble or canning stage.
Prepares Wire assemblies.
Testing, Troubleshooting, ATP documentation, and Burn-in.
