Direct Hire | $80-$100K based on skills, experience and qualifications
Summary: We are seeking an experienced, mission-driven Executive Director to lead a nonprofit organization serving survivors of human trafficking and individuals who have experienced trauma. This role is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, leading and developing staff, ensuring compliance, and advancing the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability.
The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with strong nonprofit leadership experience and a deep commitment to serving survivors who have experienced trauma or high vulnerability situations, including survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, abuse, homelessness, or similar circumstances. This individual brings a balance of compassion, operational excellence, and strategic vision, and is comfortable serving as the public voice of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership across all departments
Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff; oversee onboarding and performance metrics
Ensure programs operate effectively and in compliance with state regulations
Serve as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and staff
Lead fundraising, public relations, and community outreach efforts
Act as the public voice of the organization, including media and speaking engagements
Oversee financial operations, budgeting, and reporting in collaboration with accounting partners
Minimum of 5 years of staff management experience in a nonprofit
Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma or high vulnerability situations, including survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, abuse, homelessness, or similar circumstances required
