Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a Lead Field Engineer for our industrial manufacturing client, local to the Illinois and/or Indiana area. The incumbent will be responsible for managing Power Delivery projects while onsite across various customer locations within the Central territory.
This is a Direct Hire Role | High Travel of 75% Domestically, via Vehicle | Candidate must already have authorization to work with in the US as our client isn’t able to provide current or future sponsorship.
Requirements:
Responsible for leading small crews within the power delivery sector, performing work across transformers, LIS Switches, Low/Medium Voltage Switchgear, breaker maintenance, start up on low/medium voltage breakers, motor control centers, cable testing, proactive relay testing/installation, circuit breakers and relays.
Responsible for managing/performing hands on work for advanced protection & controls, including programming, developing programs, installation, testing and upgrading.
Complete understanding and commitment to NFPA 70E and safety standards.
Responsible for managing customer reports, expenses, safety paperwork, timesheets, and other tasks with a high level of professionalism.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably Engineering/Engineering Technology. Military experience also considered.
5 years’ experience in field service across power delivery.
Experience with ATS, Generators, Motors & Drives; PLC & PMCS Experience including writing, testing and changing codes.
Candidate must already have authorization to work with in the US as our client isn’t able to provide current or future sponsorship.
