Johnson Service Group, Inc. is actively seeking Traveling Field Service Technicians to work for our client in Tracy, CA. This is a traveling position starting in Tracy, CA.
Payrate: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour, (plus per/diem and mileage)
In this role you will participate in the Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities with the goal of providing Control Engineering with a system tested and ready for more comprehensive controls functional commissioning and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting conveyor blueprints (i.e., identifying unit number, conveyor location in building, etc.)
Reading and interpreting electrical conveyor installation manuals
Basic understanding of electrical wiring, termination, and troubleshooting.
Verify all inputs and outputs work correctly.
Verify IOs
Test overall system functionality.
Trouble-shooting skills and ability to resolve electrical equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications:
2-5 years working with installation, Electrical trouble shooting or Pre-Commissioning with a focus on electrical systems or equivalent experience in a construction, manufacturing, maintenance, or Electrical QC environment.
Working knowledge of networks, electrical connections, wiring, etc.
Understanding of Allen Bradley and or (PLC) Processors
Ability to travel 100% through the U.S.
