Summary
Are you passionate about financial analysis and strategic planning? As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will be instrumental in developing and managing financial models, forecasts, and budgets that shape the company’s future. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, leveraging data to inform executive decisions, optimize financial performance, and support organizational growth.Â
Responsibilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
Expertise in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools
Knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
Ability to interpret complex data and present clear insights
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan)
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Knowledge of Canadian and US financial regulations
Prior experience in a corporate finance environment or consulting
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
4+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related roles
Possession of a professional accounting designation (Chartered Professional Accountant).
The ability to communicate in French is an asset.Â
