Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is looking for a Front Desk Administrative Assistant in Irvine, CA.
This is a temporarty contract position 
Days/Hours- Monday-Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
Hourly pay- $17.00- $18.00 per hour DOE

The Front Desk Administrative Assistant provides administrative and project support to the human resources (HR) department and receptionist services to the organization. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service to all members, customers, vendors, and other corporate office visitors. Additionally, the incumbent answers incoming calls and directs callers to the appropriate person(s) or department. Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent and two (2) to three (3) years of administrative support/receptionist experience or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.             
  • Ability to represent the company professionally. 
  • Strong ability to work efficiently and effectively on multi-phone lines and multi-projects in a high-traffic environment with changing requirements.
  • Comfortable enforcing policies and procedures regarding security and being responsible for all visitors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to navigate basic computer systems and website applications.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and demonstrate sound judgment in various situations.
  • Ability to understand policies and procedures and apply them to various situations.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic are a must.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • SharePoint knowledge is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is desired but not required.
Duties And Responsibilities Receptionist
  • Answer incoming calls, transfer calls, and take comprehensive messages.
  • Greet all visitors, direct them to sign in, and notify the appropriate employees.
  • Accept food and floral deliveries and direct all other deliveries to the mailroom.
  • Receive incoming faxes and distribute them to their appropriate departments.  
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and clutter-free front desk area.
  • Manage security badges for all employees, new hires, temps, and visitors.
HR Operations Support
  • Assist recruiters with candidate background and reference checks, new hire notifications, interview confirmations, and other recruiting administration when necessary.
  • Provide administrative support to HR Executives as requested.
  • Provide basic administrative assistance upon request from all departments.
  • All other duties as assigned.
