Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, is looking to hire a Front Office Administrative Assistant for a client in San Diego.
Temp to Hire | Onsite | Hourly rate for this position is $22-$25/Hr. based on skills, education and experience | Hours: 6:30 AM - 3 PM
We are seeking a professional and organized Administrative Assistant to support front office operations, accounting, and logistics functions. Under the direct supervision of the Office Manager, this role ensures a welcoming reception environment, handles phone and visitor management, and provides critical support to the accounting department through bookkeeping, invoice processing, and records management. This position also serves as a backup to the Logistics Coordinator, assisting with order processing, shipment scheduling, and inventory tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet visitors, answer and direct calls, and maintain a clean and professional front office.
Distribute mail/packages, manage office supply inventory, and coordinate service/repairs.
Prepare for on-site customer visits and auditor meetings.
Support accounting with daily bookkeeping, invoice verification, and vendor payment tracking.
Assist in maintaining accurate records and applying correct GL codes.
Provide general administrative support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2–4 years of administrative or office support experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
