Johnson Service Group is looking for a part-time Student Intern for one of our Clients in San Jose. The intern will collect and analyze water samples, conduct technical reviews, prepare field reports, assist with pilot projects and permitting processes, support potable water reuse outreach, and help with QA/QC and database management.
Responsibilities:
Water/wastewater samples collection and field analysis using various instruments
Water quality data collection and analysis
Technical reviews and preparing field reports
Assisting with running pilot projects and special studies
Providing reviews of various technical documents and task deliverables
Assisting staff with the future site permitting related to Reverse Osmosis Concentrate Management and CEQA processes
Provide assistance to potable water reuse outreach and conducting tours at Water Purification CentersÂ
Assisting with QA/QC and database management
Requirements:
Currently enrolled as a Master's student in an accredited college or university and carrying at least 9 units per school term, or a recent college graduate holding a Bachelor's or Mater's degree
Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week during spring, summer, and winter break
Available to work at least 15 hours per week (Monday through Friday) during the school year
Possess a good driving record and valid CA driver’s license
Able to work in the office and field environment
Bachelor or master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or similar fields
Hybrid schedule working remotely; 60% in office and 40% telework
Rate: $30.31/hr.Â
