Johnson Service Group is seeking a detailed HR Coordinator for one of our clients that will support their team in a very fast-paced environment. This position will manage the employee lifecycle. From seamless onboarding to strategic workforce transitions.
This position is 100% on site at the client’s location from M-F 8:30 AM – 5PM
Payrate $30 per hour
Responsibilities:
Seamless Onboarding & Experience: Lead the first-day journey by managing Workday integration, coordinating IT/equipment, conducting New Hire Orientations (NHO), and ensuring a "gold-standard" welcome for every team member.
New Hire Orientation: Meet and greet employees including badging, conducting new hire orientation managing calendar to remind the team of new hires showing up on their first day.
Reporting instructions: Sending first day reporting information for new hires with assignment information.
Total Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full spectrum of employee changes, including high-volume conversions, contract extensions, and the offboarding process while maintaining rigorous documentation and compliance.
Operational Support & Compliance: Act as the primary administrator for I-9 verification as needed, employment verifications, and essential programs like EV charging and Workers' Comp tracking.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner closely with Hiring Managers, IT, and Benefits teams to streamline communications regarding leave of absence (LOA), injury updates, and performance transitions.

Requirements:
Bachelors, minimum of 2 years post high-school education preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to maintain records and communication using email, spreadsheets, etc.
Ability to learn and understand the processes/ capabilities/limitations of the key operational departments and able to coordinate amongst these departments and staffing resources
Ability to coordinate and work with various departments and personnel to complete the tasks and to meet commitments.
Ability to work in standard office setting, including frequent sitting, standing, walking, keyboarding
