Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for an ITSM / ITIL Specialist for our client’s project sites near Stafford, VA. The position is contract to hire with competitive pay with hybrid work schedule including occasional office and client visits. Responsibilities:
Support the implementation and maturation of ITIL processes through documentation of processes, procedures, and work instructions
Schedule, facilitate, and participate in weekly client meetings and service management forums. Must be able to create meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and record action items.
Provide support to the preparation and evaluation of technical documents, papers, studies, analysis, and briefings in support of IT service management.
Document processes, procedures, service levels agreements, critical success factors, performance work instructions, and process workflows.
Utilize Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio to create documentation, workflows and presentations.
Work with a team of ITIL/ITSM SMEs to create and document Process Improvement initiatives
Maintain documentation control using SharePoint
Qualifications:
5+ combined years of professional work experience in meeting support, creating documentation or ITSM Support
BS or BA degree in a Business Management, IT, or other relevant discipline from an accredited college/university.
ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations Certification
IT or ITSM experience
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, as well as demonstrate exceptional written and oral communications skills
Excellent Writing skills
Above average skills with MS Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
US Citizenship Required
United States Marine Corps or DoD experience is a plus
Active DoD Secret Clearance is highly preferred
