Job Description

 Summary
Responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks supporting the stockroom with kitting and fulfillment functions that require specific material handling processes.
Major functions:    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Will perform kitting to fulfill Manufacturing Orders within a timely manner.
• Conduct location transfers for material that would best support efficiencies while kitting.
• Communicate with Production Planners to ensure requirements released to the stockroom are processed in accordance to standard operating procedures.
• Identify and correct inventory discrepancies within Costpoint database and stockroom locations.
• Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, tow motors, forklifts, etc. upon receipt of internal certification.
• Knowledge of material handling

    Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Requires a High School Diploma and minimum of 4 year of prior relevant experience or 2 years post- Secondary /Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Share Point, etc.)
• Warehousing, receiving, shipping and forklift experience
• Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

• Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance. Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Work Environment
• Able to work in a warehouse environment.
• Able to work to a flexible schedule and overtime as required.
• Some travel may be required to assist with certain projects (e.g. Kaizens) Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Ability to operate a personal computer.
• Communicate via e-mail/telephone.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Ability to see clearly at close range.
