JSG is currently looking for a Junior Admin Assistant inSpruce Grove/Edmonton, AB for our client, a large Oil and Gas producer specializing in large Pipeline projects throughout North America. This is a 1-year contract with the potential of extensions.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to management or a team.
General duties such as budget assistance, managing team requests for travel, meeting room bookings, timesheet/expense entry, systems support, staff changes, manage team correspondence, and other administrative duties
Utilizes many different systems from word processing, spreadsheets, SAP and other software used by the business
Make decisions and recommendations within established guidelines, procedures or polices.
Performs basic and routine duties and overtime is less routine and has a broader understanding of established procedures.
Provide guidance to temporary admin staff once they have a solid background in the work.
Effective problem solve and resolve a variety of issues and topics within the job scope. Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction, able to maintain confidentiality and handle matters discreetly.
