Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Junior Engineer with knowledge of RFI tracking and contract documents. This is a direct hire opportunity with a Construction Management, Engineering solutions company located in Albany NY.
Compensation: Min: $48,000 - Max: $60,000
Responsibilities
Assist with project control activities including project document management, RFI and IB tracking, contract document review
Assist in changes to scope, prepare estimates and negotiate new project scope
Perform walkthroughs with contractor as needed
Assist with monitoring contract implementation, quality of work and materials
Inspect task execution in accordance with the plans and specifications
Maintain weekly and monthly project work plans for scope, budget, schedule, and safety objectives
Attend meetings and prepare minutes
Qualifications
Less than 2 years of experience on smaller projects valued above $1 million
Basic knowledge of RFI tracking, contract documents, scheduling, payments review
Computer proficiency in MS Office and scheduling applications
