Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Licensed Land Surveyor for our client’s operation near Savannah, GA. This is a direct hire position with competitive salary, benefits and growth opportunity. This is a fantastic opportunity to leave your mark with a growing organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead in the preparation of topographic survey, boundary survey, and right-of-way engineering documents
Review surveying documents prepared by staff including sign and stamp surveys
Process strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure on multiple project deadlines
Complete field work if necessary to support crews in meeting deadlines, provide continuous training to staff with the use of surveying equipment and best practices, and adapt to the evolving technology.
Provide as-built data in GIS format for company clients
                                                           Qualifications:
5+ years of Land Surveyor experience
Must have Professional Land Surveyor registration
Experience with AutoCAD (or experience with MicroStation with willingness to transition to AutoCAD)
Commitment to adapting to new technology
Experience with preparing Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys and Right-of-Way plats
Computer skills - Excel, Outlook, CAD and Word software
