Johnson Service Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator for one of our Clients in South San Francisco. This is a 2-month position to cover for someone on leave. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all shipments are received and processed efficiently and on time. The Logistics Coordinator will work with other team members as needed to ensure goals are achieved. In addition to logistics duties, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the break room and other ancillary tasks.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining, receiving, and shipping business development materials on time
Clearly communicate with all stakeholders on project details
Creating special orders for time to time
Keep accurate documentation
Maintain breakroom supplies, including light housekeeping
Weekly lab coat collection management
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Some college work preferred
Minimum of 2 years logistics, shipping and receiving experience
Experience with international shipments and customs clearance
Experience working with third-party logistics vendors (i.e. FedEx, Biocair, etc)
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook required
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 pounds
Self-motivated, highly flexible and collaborative
Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
Strong independent contributor and teamplayer
Rate starting at $25/hr+ DOE
