JSG Professional Services is looking for an MSE Wall Engineer for a permanent role in Detroit, Michigan.
Responsibilities:
Works with Wall Superintendent to direct and coordinate personnel and ensure the project progresses safely, on schedule, within all quality standards, and within prescribed budgets
Able to use drafting software to develop construction means and methods plans
Monitor construction schedule and costs using job cost reports and other documents to ensure project goals are met
Follow quality procedures, understand inspection and testing plans, and collect quality document relative work for project documentation
Manage material supplier and deliveries
Identify and resolve conflicts through project established procedures
Qualifications:
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Typically has four (4) years of project experience
Familiar with heavy civil wall construction, cast-in-place concrete, mechanically stabilized earth retaining systems and precast noise wall construction
