Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized recruiting firm, is assisting our manufacturing client in finding 2 Machine Operators for their facility in Summerville, SC. This is a full time position! Training is provided!
Shift Information:
Training on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am - 2pm)
Permanent Shift - 2nd (Mon - Fri, 2pm - 10pm)
Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain equipment and machines.
Input data into computer system
Input machine issues into Machine Diary.
Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with maintenance.
Verify the correct die, lubricant and cutters are set up for the job performing.
Prepare salt/chalk bath including check temperature and concentration.
Perform quality checks.
Label finished material.
Provide samples to Quality for testing.
Maintain expected production speed.
Troubleshoot process problems.
Follow protocol based on Quality Management Systems.
Support, develop and implement continuous improvement processes and ideas.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing facility.
Mechanical aptitude a plus.
Ability to use and read micrometers and other measuring devices.
