Johnson Service Group (JSG) is teamed with a leader in the aerospace and defense industry. We're searching for an excellent Machine Repair Technician to test, troubleshoot and repair a variety of manufacturing equipment and hydraulic systems.
Scope of Experience and Responsibilities:
4+ years of expertise in the test and repair of manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic systems, mills, lathes, etc.
Installation, test and repair hydraulic systems, test fixtures, connecting valves, pumps, mechanical controls, and instrumentation.
Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Assemble new/modified mechanical components/assemblies for equipment such as production machinery.
Diagnose and correct malfunctions in production machinery and test equipment.
Ability to work from blueprints and schematics.
Good hands-on electro-mechanical test and repair skills, for a variety of manufacturing equipment.
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently, with limited supervision.
Education: High School diploma or GED
