JSG is hiring a Maintenance Equipment Technician for our client in Cypress, CA.
Pay rate: $25-$30+ DOE
Responsibilities:
Monitor machine condition and initiate maintenance
Troubleshoot minor equipment problems when appropriate
Assist in set-up of new equipment/processes
Repair/refurbish equipment and machinery
Maintain assigned equipment PMs as per required schedule
Work with Manufacturing Engineers to understand process/equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specs
Perform routine preventive maintenance in accordance with equipment specifications
Maintain documentation and drawings as appropriate
Provide technical support to production as needed
Maintain work area in clean and orderly condition
Attend and participate in department safety meetings
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 5 years related hands-on experience
Minimum 2 years technical school (electro-mechanical studies preferred) or equivalent
Experience working with high vacuum equipment such as cryo-pumps, diffusion pumps, turbo pumps, vacuum controllers, and compressors
Experience working with and rebuilding mechanical vacuum pumps
Excellent theoretical knowledge of vacuum systems, including high vacuum systems
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Able to work independently from written and/or verbal instructions and procedures, schematics, rough sketches, blueprints, diagrams, layouts and plans and maintenance manuals
Able to work effectively with numbers and document tests
Able to use variety of hand tools and measurement devices
Able to read schematics and troubleshoot electronic circuits
Able to comply with all Safety Requirements as required for the job, including D.O.T.
HazMat Handler Training a plus
Can be Respirator Certified if required for the job.
Maintain acceptable attendance to support department goals and needs
Able to work effectively with limited supervision
Understand and follow all safety rules and procedures
Display a positive and cooperative attitude during work
