Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Automation Manager.
Few Responsibilities
Collaborate with other site managers to provide input on personnel, projects, safe design, tools, compliance, equipment standards, maintenance practices, reliability, and behavioral methodology.
Participate in supplier and equipment reviews with the goal of streamlining projects, purchasing efforts, and helping reduce inventory costs. As a SME this position will interface with regional and global stakeholders as needed to improve and sustain AEI reliability.
Provide Instrument, Controls, and Electrical expertise to the Industrial Operations staff and communicating with appropriate stakeholders, budgeting/costing, assist with preparation and/or oversight of the development of AEI design & feasibility studies for projects at existing US facilities.
Qualifications:
10+ years work experience in different foods or pharmaceutical environments.
Master's Degree and 5 years of AEI experience or bachelor’s degree and 10 years of AEI experience.
Experience with project management software (i.e., Microsoft Projects, etc.)
AutoCAD experience.
Design and installation experience with PLC and/or DCS systems required, with knowledge of Rockwell hardware and software desired.
MES (Manufacturing Execution System) implementation experience.
Robots’ mechanics experience.
Knowledge of Hazardous Location rating assessments.
Knowledge with NFPA 61 for flammability and explosive dusts.
Familiar with Factory Acceptance Testing.
Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing against pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup deliverables. Operational experience in Chemical or Food/Pharma facilities.
