Johnson Service Group (JSG) has an immediate opening for a Manager of Finance for a hospital in the Monterey, CA Area
Offering relocation bonus
Salary range: $130,000- $170,000 DOE
Job Summary:
This position prepares analysis related to business decisions, confidential contract negotiations, financial negotiations. and business line/services decisions. Hands-on responsibility to maintain and improve cost accounting system and other models/financial systems. Assists in implementation and testing of updates of other financial systems. Requires independent judgement with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, and Finance preferred
10 years experience in leadership-level acute hospital experience in Decision Support with a hands-on focus on Cost Accounting required.
Strong knowledge of financial systems and general accounting principles with working experience in a reputable Cost Accounting System from bottom-up.
Experience with hospital patient accounts, clinical data reporting and analysis preferred
Knowledge of Strata Decision Technologies software preferred
Advanced spreadsheet and database skills required.
Primary Job Duties:
Reports to the Director of FP&A and has direct relationship with the CFO and other administrators in the development of financial and cost studies.
Strong managerial and interpersonal skills
Expertise in financial, budgetary and hands-on cost accounting experience to lead the the full utilization of Cost Accounting System.- StrataJazz.
Create and maintain reimbursement models to analyze and predict revenue and expense by payor and business line
Expert level proficiency in financial/data modeling - Excel and system tools
Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills in order to prepare complex financial analysis, dashboards with performance indicators, and PowerPoint presentations
Works effectively with all levels of the organization
Assists in preparing exhibits and analysis for monthly close
Other duties as assigned related to financial systems, analysis and other projects.
