Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with injection molding experience for our client, a tier one automotive supplier in the Savannah, GA area. The Manufacturing Engineer will play an integral part in developing daily productivity, safety, and quality standards, while creating SOP’s, and providing insight to optimize the manufacturing facility and production.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with management to develop and implement quality control standards, safety practices and implement/improve manufacturing concerns.Â
Troubleshoot and proactively handle maintenance issues, while writing, recording, and managing SOP’s, ensuring manufacturing needs are met in a timely manner. Managing molding, forming and assembly machines/systems, alongside proprietary software.
Effectively communicate with third parties, engineering teams and technicians to respond to manufacturing concerns, and ensure compliance with all company policies, practices and standards.
Proficiently understand and use mold and extrusion systems, ERP systems and programming systems.
Maintain a professional, communicative, and positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, ideally mechanical, industrial or manufacturing; or Associate's Degree in Engineering.Â
At least 3 years’ injection molding experience in the automotive industry is required.
Plastic fabrication experience ideal
Ability to navigate/operate various computer programs and software including Microsoft Suite, CAD & CAM.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work within the United States.
