Job Summary
Responsible for efficiently retrieving and assembling parts for production using a vertical lift system (VLS). This role ensures accurate picking, timely kitting, and coordination with production to maintain workflow. The ideal candidate will uphold quality and safety standards while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Job Responsibilities:
•   Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be loaded, unloaded and/or move materials within the warehouse
•   Maintain system critical data elements
•   Monitor manufacturing order kitting schedule and update kitting tracker as necessary, ensuring kits are pulled according to schedule and delivered to production on time
•   Ensure movement of product from production through packaging to shipping
•   Perform materials analysis and maintains records as required in support of cycle counting operations and performance measurement
•   Open containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools
•   Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
•   Convey materials to or from storage or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of hand truck
•   Count, weigh, and record materials moved or handled in an ERP system
•   Attach tags or label to materials or otherwise mark information
Qualifications:
•   Experience with warehouse systems and inventory control.
•   Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
•   1+ year experience working with VLS and MRP systems.
•  Proficient with MS Office
•  High school diploma or GED.
