Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Mechanical Designer for our client in the Louisville, KY area. This is a direct hire position with a competitive salary and great benefits. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family-oriented company that’s growing significantly.
Responsibilities:
Work from Architectural drawings layout railing configurations to produce submittal drawings
Show dimensions, materials to be used, and other information necessary to make detailed drawings clear and complete.
Create complete shop release packages.
Make any adjustments or changes needed
Focus on quality work
Qualifications:
3+ years of Mechanical Design experience
Ability to produce shop drawings for a steel manufacturer or similar metal company
Bachelor’s degree preferred with an educational background in architecture or engineering.
Certificate in Computer Aided Drafting and Design
Must have experience with Autodesk software including Inventor, Vault & AutoCAD
Self-starter who is focused, articulate, well organized, and detail oriented.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
