JSG is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for our client in Little Falls, NY! Relocation Available
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Project cost estimating and assessing project requirements
Maintains adherence to Company policy and safety standards including but not limited to OSHA and good housekeeping practices
Maintenance technical support
Process engineering support
Optical & laser alignment
Manage corporate procedures for ASME Code for pressure vessels
Machine design & drafting
Project Management (MS Office Project), agreeing budgets, timescales, and specifications with clients and managers
Develop engineering specifications and proposals
Review contract documents
Project follow up & completion
Resolve design and development problems
Assess the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.Â
Responsible for understanding food safety requirements within the facility
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years’ experience in Industrial or Manufacturing.
Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Mechanical drawing/drafting (AutoCAD)
Sound mathematical and scientific skills
Able to effectively use computer tools including but not limited to: Word, Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD
Working knowledge of following:
Gears, gearboxes, pulleys, couplings, bearings
Optical & laser alignment tooling
Paper & paper converting machinery
ASME Section Code for non-fired pressure vessels
General machining practices and procedures
Industry tolerances
Salary Range: $85K - $130K
