Job Description
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized Professional Staffing and Recruiting firm that is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer. This is a contract to hire opportunity with a top engineering firm.
Responsibilities:
- Design calculations
- Engineering change packages
- Licensing & engineering evaluations
- Preparing l0CFRS0.59 nuclear evaluations
- Responding to regulatory concerns
- Supporting modification installation activities
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- 5-10 years experience in nuclear or power generation
- Experience and knowledge with nuclear power plant components and systems
- Knowledge and experience in design, development and delivery of mechanical design modification packages for nuclear power plants
- Advanced technical degree or related coursework
- Commercial Nuclear Power Plant Experience
- Professional Engineer Registration (within Illinois is ideal)
