Johnson Service Group, a professional recruiting firm is assisting our global manufacturing client with a Product Manager, serving the Power Market and specializing in HVDC.Â
Summary:
Responsible for working with the sales organization, supporting North-American customers by providing technical solutions, translating market needs into new portfolio requirements, and power electronics technology solutions. This individual will function as a technical SME and assist Sales, Bid & Proposals, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Service and R&D.
Responsibilities:Â
Support customers to identify optimal solutions.
Analyze the power electronics technology market identifying trends, measure performance and develop the value proposition.
Define the best go-to market strategy to support market demands, including providing the critical inputs to the Product Lifecycle Management system.
Participate in trade associations, engage with Regulators and policy makers supporting the future directions of the industry.
Drive effective communication to internal stakeholders on progress and escalating roadblocks to success.
Required:
Master of Science or PhD, EngineeringÂ
3-5 years’ experience working to identify power market solutions, actively supporting sales to utility and industrial customers.
Open to a combination of educational background and hands on experience, with a drive and desire to learn and grow within the industry!Â

Additional Information:
Onsite role in Raleigh, NC (Open to remote initially with full intentions of relocating within a few months).
International/National travel up to 10%.
