Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for Pipe Stress Engineers with background in commercial nuclear, on a long-term contractual to support developing design mod packages for our nuclear A/E client.
100% remote, no travel required.
Flexible schedule – be available during normal business hours – but if you want to take a 2-hour lunch or go to a kid’s ballgame, that’s fine. Just get the work done and participate in Teams meetings!
Diverse nuclear client base - so if work runs out with one client, you just move to another project.
Opportunity to be hired contract to direct (or direct on occasion), if that’s of interest to the candidate.
Part-time or full-time.
Requirements:
Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
B.S. degree in engineering
3+ years current experience pipe stress analysis and design change packages for commercial nuclear plant mods.Â
Experience with IP-ENG-001.
Background in pipe stress - PIPESTRESS, AutoPIPE, or similar software.
Strong knowledge of Class 1 piping.
Experience with ASME Boiler/Pressure codes – specifically Section III and Section VIII.
Ability to work independently and against deadlines.
