Join the team shaping the next generation of clean nuclear power. As a Project Manager (ASME Components), you’ll lead complex, first-of-a-kind (FOAK) nuclear technology projects that advance the design, fabrication, and deployment of innovative SMR systems. Reporting to the Director, SMR Product Development, and this role will manage internal and/or external projects related to the SMR design. 

You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to deliver ASME Section III–compliant components, ensuring projects meet critical milestones in cost, schedule, quality, and innovation.

Location: Houston, Texas or Remote

Travel: 25% Travel
Contract Role: 40 Hours a week
W2 Hourly Compensation:
  (Commensurate with experience)
Citizenship:  U.S. Citizenship is required.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of project management experience in nuclear or complex energy systems.

  • Proven background managing ASME BPVC Section III or pressure vessel/piping design projects.

  • Deep understanding of PWR systems, nuclear QA standards (10 CFR 50 App. B, 10 CFR 21, NQA-1).

  • Strong command of PMI/PMBOK principles and Earned Value Management (EIA-748-C).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

  • PMP certification preferred.

  • Must be eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810 regulations.

  • Manage interfaces across design, fabrication, and regulatory disciplines.

  • Identify and mitigate technical and programmatic risks early.

  • Deliver clear project performance reports and communicate results to leadership.

  • Champion a strong safety and quality culture across every phase of work.
