Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for an Outside Plant Technician at our client’s project in Warren, MI. This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive pay and great benefits. The Outside Plant Technician will work within a cohesive team to support our Government customer. The employee shall maintain, install, move, and remove above-ground cable, including copper, coaxial, aerial, and fiber optic cable.
Responsibilities:
Test cables in accordance with plans and procedures prior to installation and completing forms.
Splice cables and properly install splice enclosures.
Troubleshoot cable solution problems
Maintain compliance with all applicable building and fire code regulations.
Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience performing OSP functions
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline preferred or have equivalent experience
Position requires a Secret security clearance. Must be a US citizen.
