Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized professional recruiting firm, is seeking a Plant Controller for a global manufacturer in the Columbia, MO area. This role is responsible for financial reporting and controlling activities within this large, single-site manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the financial statements and the day-to-day controlling activities. Ensuring all the month end activities for the plant are performed in accordance with the group reporting timetable.
Perform monthly balance sheet review. Reviewing the backlog and ensuring the accuracy of the backlog periodization. Leading the annual budget preparation in coordination with various stakeholders.
Accurate forecasting of business and ensuring timely management reporting. Management of accounts receivable and continuously striving to reduce the overdues for the business.
Participation in project reviews and mitigation of any financial risks.
Ensure coordination and cooperation with Global Business Service & Center of Expertise.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field and 10 years of finance/accounting operational experience OR;
MBA or Master's in Accounting and 8 years’ experience in finance/accounting operational experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent English.
