Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing firm, and we are recruiting for a, PrincipleElectrical/I&C Design Engineer for the Beaver Valley Nuclear Plantin Shippingport, PA. This plant is generating power by two Westinghouse pressurized water reactors.

Position Summary:
The Design Engineering Team is responsible for maintaining the design and licensing bases requirements of the plant. One of the primary functions of the Design Engineering team is to develop modification packages and review any changes to ensure all associated design and licensing requirements are met and configuration control is maintained.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for changes to the plant’s electrical systems, in addition to maintaining the station’s electrical analyses and calculations.
Primary focus will be on electrical upgrades including, but not limited to, transformers, breakers, and motors.
Develop modification packages to support station changes and upgrades.
Provide innovative engineering solutions to complex problems.
Maintain the technical conscience for the station and demonstrate accountability for technical products and recommendations.
Participate in and lead special projects or teams on occasion.
Perform reviews specific to digital upgrades to ensure all requirements are met.
Identifies and performs tasks as required to meet objectives.
Education / Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field is required.
8+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
Knowledge of electrical equipment including breakers, relays, motors, and transformers.
Previous experience in the development of modification packages and electrical equipment replacements.
Knowledge of electrical component design performance characteristics and specifications.
Experience in performing 10CFR50.59 reviews is preferred.
Proficient with technical evaluation processes.
Able to execute projects/strategies with some oversight.
Ability to effectively communicate with peers, management, and/or represent client interests to outside agencies.
