The incumbent will join a dynamic team, have growth opportunities, and be well poised to contribute to organizational restructuring.
AM & PM Shifts: 7am-7:30pm & 7pm-7:30am; 2-2-3 Schedule. (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on.)

Our client is seeking an experienced Structural Foam/ Molding/Process Technician with a minimum of 2-5 years. This position will report directly to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks:
Responsibilities:
•Monitor and maintain standard molding cycles and part quality.
•Understand, operate, troubleshoot, and train others in the use of secondary packaging/assembly fixtures, equipment and tools.
•Be able to understand and communicate the information provided within the job packet pertaining to specification sheet, standard routing, B.O.M.’s, scrap reports and quality requirements.
•Be able to identify all resins used in molding operation including regrind and the associated usage percentage.
•Must understand and operate the operator interface ‘CRT’ screen on computer-controlled presses, including all screens required to control the process.
•Must be able to completely restart a press that has been cycled within a reasonable amount of time; having acceptable First Article parts and press running at standard cycle.
•Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of hot runner systems, insulated runners, and standard sprue molds.
•Trouble shoot issues on production floor.
•Other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:
•Knowledge of the operating functions of a structural foam molding press.
•Organized, detail oriented, Team player.
•Resourceful, with ability to apply critical problem-solving skills.
•Effective Communication Skills.
•Applicant must have 2-5 years’ experience as a process tech in injection molding or similar process.
•Experience with robot programming Fanuc or Whitman robots.
•Follow departmental documentation procedures.
•Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
