Job Description
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Product Engineer for an Electronic Manufacturing company located in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the integration of customer bills of materials.
- Review and implement via the RFEC and ECN process all customer requested changes to assigned products.
- Provide product engineering support.
- Responsible for integrating customer BOM's and AVL's into the MRP program.
- Implement product cost reduction programs to meet company financial goals.
- Manage schedule, budget on major engineering project.
Qualifictions:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or engineering degree with experience in electronics.
- Two to four years progressive experience as a product engineer or in a related engineering discipline.
- Ability to operate and have knowledge in using MFG PRO software or similar manufacturing software.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Ability to use digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, software development tools, and micrometers. A broad knowledge of mechanical and electronic principles as well as a high level knowledge of printed circuit board lines, printed circuit board assembly practices and keyboard ECN/PCO procedures is required along with a broad ability to perform electrical and mechanical engineering functions.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, statistics and permutations.
- Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and demonstrate the ability to determine critical parameters and develop process controls and/or follow-ups.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Must be able to read and understand PCA assembly drawings and technical notes.
