Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Production Equipment Mechanic with 1-3 years’ work experience in the production equipment repair and maintenance field, preferably in a manufacturing environment. This is a Temp-Direct opportunity for an Aviation company in Oxnard, CA.
Shift: 6am -430pm to start with goal to be on the 12pm-1030pm shift
Salary: $25.00 HR
Summary:
Performs production equipment maintenance according to scheduled preventative maintenance requirements, maintains track records using Faciliworks maintenance program, and repairs broken equipment.
Essential Duties and RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following, other duties may be assigned:
Performs preventative maintenance (PM) and repairs of production equipment and other machinery.
Keeps records of PM using Faciliworks maintenance program.
Rebuilds production related equipment and consults equipment supervisor for advice if needed.
Uses hand and power tools, and other equipment to perform his assignments.
Participates in removal or relocation of old and installation of new equipment.
Works from blueprints, sketches, layout drawings, and verbal instructions.
Performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Basic knowledge of general trade fundamentals sufficient to perform equipment maintenance work and repairs.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years’ work experience preferred in the production equipment repair and maintenance field, preferably in manufacturing environment.
