Johnson Service Group (JSG), a nationally recognized recruiting firm, is assisting our manufacturing client in finding a Production Planner in Ladson, South Carolina. This position is responsible for developing production schedules and issuing production orders.
Responsibilities:
Process shipments and manage all shipping documents
Manage purchase orders and create Work Orders including BOM’s and Quality Sheets
Schedule Work Orders in accordance with Purchase Orders, workload capacity, and availability of shop parts
Support procurement department in issuing Purchase Orders and working with suppliers to initiate RFQ processes
Maintain timely production and shipment processes, updating corresponding documents regularly
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree with preferred prior experience in an ISO:9001 environment.
Prior experience with an ERP system
Must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and well-organized
Proficient in Microsoft Office
