Information Technology Project Manager

Centrilogic is seeking an experienced Project Manager to work as part of a team of project managers who will lead Customer Data Center migrations (lift & shift, Hybrid Cloud and Cloud migrations).
Reporting to the PMO Director (with daily direction from a senior project manager), you will be responsible for successful implementation of projects for Centrilogic internal and client sponsors. In this role there will be considerable time pressure and the need to facilitate creative solutions to overcome barriers.

Location: North America/Remote-Hybrid
Role: Initial 9 Month contract
Target Hourly Rate: Subject to candidate experience
Team: Project Management Office
Important Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or engineering
  • PMP certification or equivalent
Important Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years Project Management with Private Cloud/Data Center implementations & migration projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of key project management concepts, practices and techniques).
  • Strong Communications & Leadership Skills (English).
  • Ability to work in Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) Zone.

Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Public Cloud & Hybrid Cloud Project Experience
  • Strong MS Project skills
  • MS PWA & Power BI
  • Advanced MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Experience facilitating the scoping phase of projects.
  • Azure and/or AWS fundamentals certification

Role Responsibilities
  • Oversee client project management Scoping, Initiation, Planning, Execution and Monitoring & Controlling phases.
  • Accountability for managing:
    • schedule critical path & milestones
    • Budgets & vendor engagement
    • Tracking of Risks and Issues
    • Managing and satisfying stakeholder requirements and expectations.
  • Develop and build good relationships both internally and with clients to contribute to making Centrilogic a trusted and preferred partner for Professional Services.
  • Facilitate delivery of solutions by leading and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams from various client and Centrilogic departments.
  • Provide oversight and direction to implementation teams to ensure the deployments meet project objectives.
  • Lead projects with limited supervision.
  • Proactively identify, anticipate, and mitigate project risks.
  • Strive to consistently improve customer satisfaction, delivery times and service levels while controlling costs.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
  • Work across multiple time-zones to deliver to Centrilogic’s global customer base.

  • Leadership courage with a propensity to confront complicated issues with sensitivity and diplomacy.
  • Sound Business Acumen with the demonstrated ability to work with clients to identify and provide solutions to business challenges wholistically factoring in commercial implications.
  • Demonstrated focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Mental agility with the ability to ask probing questions to reach past the superficial symptoms to understand root causes and identify creative solutions to problems.
  • Excellent communications skills (oral and written) supported by the ability to think critically.
  • Well-rounded project financial management skills with experience managing both Revenue forecasting and tracking along with cost and profit management for projects.
  • The versatility to manage many concurrent small to medium size projects.
