Project Engineer Â
Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, is looking to hire a Project Engineer for a privately held full-service Security Systems Integrator in San Diego.
Direct Hire | Onsite | $60K – $72K depending on experience | Candidate must have authorization to work within the US as our client isn’t able to provide current or future sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed project proposals and quotes.
Maintain comprehensive control of all project documentation.
Create, manage, and track RFIs from the field to the Architect/Engineer of record.
Understand and interpret project plans and specifications.
Develop submittals and shop drawings for approval based on plans and specifications.
Create and distribute project closeout materials and O&M manuals upon project completion.
Assist the project team with project closeout activities.
Support the Project Manager with assigned tasks.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of construction contracts and subcontracts.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in estimating security system projects.
Proficient with computers and networking.
Dedicated to providing professional and high-quality service to customers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized and able to think on your feet.
Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential. Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
