Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator to work closely with our Project Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects.
The chosen candidate(s) will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter with strong competency to work independently, and have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results within deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of projects from start to finish.
Work closely with clients to facilitate and maintain excellent relationships.
Review drawings to determine compliance with design.
Review and price site instructions.
Calculate and submit monthly invoices.
Attend site coordination meetings.
Prepare requisitions for material orders.
Schedule deliveries and coordinate site labour.
Keep up-to-date records of submittals and review drawings.
Collaborate with general contractors and other trades to ensure the project is completed within the determined deadline.

Must Have
Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) degree is an asset
Professional experience working in the environment of steel fabrication and/or construction, welding, structures and estimating complex projects.
Experience in construction projects within the expected scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
