JSG is hiring a Project Engineer for a mining company in the Bakersfield, CA area. This position will be responsible for work on small projects to modernize and improve existing equipment and follow-up of current and future large projects. Base $80K - $100K
Responsibilities:
Cost estimates
Reviewing project proposals and plans
Project status reports
Cost control
Approving expenditures
Administering contractor contracts
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Experience with civil, structural, mechanical or electrical engineering.
Prior experience as a project administrator in heavy industry.
2+ years of project experience in construction or manufacturing.
