Project Manager (Oil & Gas Infrastructure)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage projects within the Oil & Gas infrastructure sector. This position is responsible for managing projects up to $50 million TIC, focusing on gas facilities and compression systems. The ideal candidate should be able to confidently interface with clients, manage teams, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, adhering to high-quality standards and meeting customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from initial conception and planning through to execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Oversee projects focused on gas facilities, compression systems, pipelines, and related infrastructure, with total installed costs (TIC) up to $50 million.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure project milestones are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring projects remain within scope and on track for successful completion.
- Prepare and present detailed project status reports to stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
- Mitigate project risks and handle any issues or changes that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all projects are compliant with relevant industry codes and standards, including but not limited to API (570, 579-1/ASME FFS-1, 610, 617), CSA (Z662, B51, Z245), and ASME (B31.3, B31.4, B31.8).
- Promote and uphold a safe work environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects within the oil & gas industry, specifically with gas facilities and compression systems.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards, including API, CSA, and ASME.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, manage budgets, and drive projects to completion.
- High level of proficiency in project management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle project changes and risk effectively.
