JSG is seeking a First Article Inspection Supervisor for a client in the greater Santa Clarita Valley area. This is an onsite, direct hire position for an established company. Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Inspection Supervisor to lead their quality inspection team. This role is critical in ensuring that their products meet aerospace industry standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aerospace quality systems, proven leadership skills, and technical expertise in inspection processes.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and perform inspections, including CMM inspection - PC-DMIS
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the inspection team.
Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards.
Deliver accurate and timely inspection data to support manufacturing and engineering decision-making.
Train, mentor, and develop inspection personnel.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and quality performance.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inspection and quality activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing inspection.
Strong knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality standards.
Familiarity with CMM inspection and other inspection tools/techniques.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, motivate employees, and foster a culture of accountability and improvement.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Salary range: $95k - 130K
