JSG is hiring a Quality Engineer - Onsite role for our client in Cypress, CA.Â
Job Duties:Â
Administer Internal Corrective and Preventative Action Requests (CAR/PAR)
Perform Internal Audits as part of QMS
Coordinate outside test lab analysis as needed
Assist in Responding to Our Customer’s Supplier Corrective and Preventative Actions Requests to Include Failure Analysis Reports, Root Cause Analysis, etc.
Prepare and maintain Company-wide Metrics and KPIs
Assist in Company-wide Audits by External Certifying Agencies and Customers, such as Our Annual AS9100 Audit
Write New and Update Existing Procurement General and Detail Specification Control Drawings (SCDs) for Components Utilized in the Production of Company Products
Perform Failure Analysis on RMA and in-house failures with engineering as needed.
Support ISO 14001, DFARS, conflict minerals reporting, REACH & RoHS, including furnishing applicable information to customers.
Bachelor’s degree in STEM field and 5+ years working experience or 10+ years of commensurate experience. Must have broad familiarity of concepts across physics and engineering disciplines.
Social proficiency in dealing with Suppliers, Customers and Fellow Team Members
Proficient utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
Strong technical writing ability with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear manner
Experience in an AS9100 or ISO 9001 environment
Familiarity with QMS systems such as TIPQA, or Agile
Familiarity with AS9102 First Article, FMEA, SPC and MSA tools.
Understanding of crystal oscillators or similar microelectronics (MIL-PRF-55310, MIL-STD-883)
Experience with thermal and mechanical testing requirements for space applications
Strong familiarity with chip wire hybrid and/or PCB construction methods (MIL-PRF-38534 or IPC-A-610)
Experience with Analytical techniques such as microscopy, cross section, SEM/EDS, and thermal testing FTIR is a plus
Experience with Lean or Six Sigma and Hypothesis testing tools a plus.
Passion for the space exploration and associated systems
Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint, PowerAutomate and Forms.
