JSG is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer (QE)Â to support quality, corrective action, and continuous improvement activities within a manufacturing environment.Â
Pay rate: $29-$50 DOEÂ
Lead and support investigations into internal scrap, nonconformances, and quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
Partner with Production and Manufacturing Engineering (ME) to identify and implement process and quality improvements.
Analyze scrap, nonconformance, and quality trend data to identify recurring issues, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks.
Support the implementation and verification of customer corrective actions.
Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure corrective actions are completed effectively and sustained over time.
Assist with quality audits and quality management system (QMS) activities as needed.
Maintain appropriate quality documentation and records related to investigations, corrective actions, and improvement activities.
Perform other quality engineering duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of Quality Engineering experience, preferably within the aerospace or medical device industry.
Experience with root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and trend quality and manufacturing data.
Experience working directly with Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
Previous experience with auditing and/or Quality Management Systems (QMS) strongly preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
