Job Overview
Help build the systems that keep quality, compliance, and operational excellence moving forward. As a QMS Specialist, you will play a central role in maintaining and improving the company’s Quality Management System across multiple sites. This position partners closely with teams across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership to support audit readiness, strengthen process discipline, and drive continuous improvement as the organization grows.

Helps build and maintain a scalable, standardized multi-site QMS across corporate, engineering, and manufacturing operations.
Drives audit readiness and supports successful internal, customer, registrar, and regulatory audits.
Strengthens process consistency, documentation discipline, and corrective action effectiveness across the organization.
Contributes directly to operational excellence in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Works on-site and cross-functionally to improve the systems that enable reliable, repeatable execution.
Supports a schedule that may include occasional overtime or weekend work tied to audits, deadlines, or critical business priorities.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum of 4 years of experience implementing, managing, and auditing Quality Management Systems.
Experience performing internal QMS audits and supporting external audits, including registrar and customer audits.
Strong understanding of AS9100 standards and quality system compliance requirements.
Experience with document control, CAPA, audit management, and process standardization.
Ability to interpret and apply regulatory, customer, and internal quality requirements.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams.
High attention to detail and strong follow-through in a compliance-focused environment.
Ability to influence accountability and collaborate across functions.
Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving capability.
Ability to move between office and manufacturing areas and wear required PPE when needed.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to comply with ITAR-regulated or otherwise controlled work environment requirements.
Preferred
Experience supporting or maintaining a multi-site Quality Management System.
Experience working in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
Experience supporting standardized quality processes across multiple functions or sites.
